matchpoint: #akg_k_701 One of the beast headphones I have ever bought but are a bit too analytical. I tend to use them for jazz but not as much for rock or pop. Base is really tight and quick and extends into really low low Hz. They always need a headphone amp to go with them, I use a hand built AMB M3 to go with them. They are almost a work of art to look at but but I am not too sure of how long will they last. I am used to headphones lasting decades. Mar 22, 09
