Audio-Technica ATH-ANC25

The Audio-Technica ATH-ANC25 are a pair of entry level active noise cancelling headphones that feature an in-line volume control and detachable cable. QuietPoint noise cancelling circuitry is located inside the headphone with on/off switch and is powered with an included AAA battery, although they may be used inactive without battery power/noise cancelling as well.

Unlike the more powerful ATH-ANC1 headphones, these have a slightly larger driver and offer a padded headband for extra comfort as well as the detachable cable. They are also foldable and include a travel pouch, airline adapter, 1.6 foot extension cable with 1/4" stereo jack, and, maintain the same On-Ear closed back design so they rest on top of the ear without covering it. AT says they are capable of blocking out 80% of outside noise and are compatible with devices such as iPhone, iPod, iPod Touch, laptops, in-flight entertainment systems and other portable CD and DVD players.
