Grado SR125i
$150.00
Released March, 2009
The Pros:Audiophile quality for voice and instrument warmth and clarity. Built very light, don't notice the weight even after hours of use.
The Cons:Don't feel like they give a secure fit. Headband is bent to adjust tightness, feels like it will break doing this too often. Need a 12 to 24 hour break-in period before they reach their potential for clarity.
Re-introduced in March 2009 with a slightly tweaked and improved driver, the Grado SR125i is a high end headphone. Based on the same design as the SR80i, the SR125i features an improved diaphragm and voice coil design and UHPLC (Ultra-high purity, long crystal) copper voice coil wire.
